KwaZulu-Natal - A woman died when her car hit a stationary truck on the N2 near Umgababa, on the KwaZulu-Natal coast on Sunday morning, paramedics said.

“(Paramedics) and the local fire department arrived on the scene and found the car partly in the right hand lane of the N2 with the truck just a few metres away,” said ER24 spokesman Derrick Banks.

The woman was declared dead on the scene.
