Limpopo – Four people were killed and 30 others injured in a bus accident on the N1 just outside Louis Trichardt in the Limpopo province on Wednesday, ER24 said. The paramedic service said the bus drove into an embankment. “ER24 paramedics, along with various services, arrived on scene and found the bus parked on the side of the road. Debris from the bus was spread across the scene.” Four bodies were found on the scene, one trapped under the bus. “Thirty other patients were found on scene with injuries ranging from minor to critical,” ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said. “Paramedics treated the patients and provided some with advanced life support intervention.” Some of the patients were airlifted to various hospitals. Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
