LIMPOPO MUNICIPALITY GETS CLEAN AUDIT

The Fetakgomo local municipality in Limpopo will receive an award for getting a clean audit opinion for the 2010-2011 financial year, the municipality said on Monday.

Municipal spokesman Rolihlahla Mmela said Auditor General Terence Nombembe would present the award on Tuesday.

The clean audit is the second received by the municipality. It had also received awards from the SA Local Government Association and from the Institute for Municipal Finance Officers.

Fetakgomo was the only municipality to receive a clean audit in Limpopo during the 2009/10 financial year.

well done for clean audit but nothing is done there is my home villege they are proud of not using our money "taxpeyers" at Mphanama villege we still dont have drinking water
