A man and one-year old baby died when a taxi overturned on the N4 highway at Kendal, near Witbank on Monday, emergency personnel said.
"A baby and an adult man were killed, and 11 injured, when a taxi carrying 17 people lost its back wheel and overturned several times," said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha.
The accident occurred at about 2pm.
The injured were taken to Witbank Provincial Hospital for treatment. - Sapa
