Cape Town - Insurance company Miway have vowed to get to the bottom of an alleged leaked email that talks about punishing "black baboons".
A screengrab was posted on Twitter on Thursday showing an email allegedly sent by a Miway employee.
The email reads: "This is a reminder of yesterdays managers meeting. The final decisions was to reject 90% of claims made by black people as from 1 August 2017. They are an easy target, its also a great opportunity t ave money and punish those black baboons."

According to a report on EWN, MiWay CEO Rene Otto called the email "fake news" and a "hoax".
“Its absolute nonsense, fake news on steroids. There has never been such a decision and it’s a hoax email. I have just seen the mail myself. We are busy following the threads so we will be able to prove that it’s false and falsified," she was quoted as saying.
