Johannesburg - A man thought to be in his 30s escaped injury after his plane crashed in a field south of the Middelburg Airfield, ER24 said on Wednesday.
Russel Meiring, the ER24 spokesperson said when paramedics and Middelburg Fire Service arrived they found the small aircraft in the middle of a field.
“The pilot was found walking around in the scene,” said Meiring. He was assessed and found to be without injury.
The cause of the crash is being probed by relevant authorities.
