Rustenburg - A 50-year-old man died, while his wife and son were injured, when their helicopter crashed in Delareyville, North West police said on Sunday.
Police spokesman, Major Pelonomi Makau, said the man, his 42-year old wife, and 13-year old son were flying from Vryburg when the helicopter crashed on Saturday.
“It is alleged that the pilot (husband) and his family were from the Serapa Safari in Tosca outside Vryburg at the time of the accident. At this stage, the cause of the incident is unknown and the Civil Aviation (Authority) is investigating.”
