Rustenburg - Two boys burnt to death when a shack caught fire in Ramatlabama near Mahikeng, North West police said on Friday.
Lieutenant Colonel Makau said the boys, aged one and two respectively, burnt to death on Thursday night at Ikopeleng village in Ramatlabama.
"Their mother was allegedly not in the house at the time of the incident but she was later taken to the police station for questioning."
Makau said the cause of fire was still unknown at this stage and police investigations into the incident continued.
