Cape Town - The names of the people who died in the crash on a Durbanville farm this morning has been released by E-med Rescue 24.

In a statement the company says they were evacuating Gabriel Le Roux on behalf of ER24 in South Africa from Oranjemund in Namibia.

Le Roux, his daughter Charmaine Koortzen, 49, paramedic Alfred John Ward, 24, pilot Steven Naude, 53, and co-pilot Amore Espag, 23 died early on Sunday morning.

In their statement the company says the aircraft left Oranjemund Airport shortly after 4am on Sunday morning and was expected to land at Cape Town International Airport in South Africa at 7am.
