The three girls; baby Akhona, Aphelele and Aphiwe were born to a Khayelitsha mother of two, Dorcas Voyi aged 34.

The triplets were delivered on Friday afternoon.

Baby Akhona was born at 12:05pm weighing 2.020kg, hot on her heels was Aphelele born just a minute after her weighing 2.005kg and the youngest one, Aphiwe, popped weighing 2.035kg at 12:07pm.
