Johannesburg – Two members of the SA National Defence Force (SANDF) died on Thursday when their military truck collided with two other trucks near Makhado, Limpopo police said.

"The accident happened along the N1 north next to Hartleigh, 46km North of Makhado. It is alleged the two trucks, of which one was a military truck, were travelling towards Makhado when another truck travelling towards the north lost control and collided with the two," said spokesman Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

One of the SANDF members died at the scene and the other died on arrival at hospital. Police were investigating a case of culpable homicide.
