US agents say they have arrested a 63-year-old Puerto Rico businessman on sex-trafficking charges involving a 13-year-old girl.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement accuses Wilfredo Cubero Soto of picking up the girl near her middle school and taking her to a motel in the island's south-west.
The agency said on Wednesday that Cubero previously contacted one of the girl's friends and asked her to recruit underage girls for sex.
Authorities allege Cubero paid the 13-year-old girl $40 at least twice for unspecified sex acts.
It was not immediately clear if Cubero has a lawyer. - Sapa-AP
