London -
A former Ukip candidate, Peter Bucklitsch, sparked outrage on Thursday night after his Twitter account claimed a dead toddler's refugee family were “greedy for the good life”.
Images of three-year-old Aylan al-Kurdi on a Turkish beach shocked the world.
Mr Bucklitsch, who won 2 500 votes for Ukip at the general election, drew sharp criticism after tweeting: “The little Syrian boy was well clothed and well fed.
He died because his parents were greedy for the good life in Europe.”
His Twitter account has been deleted.
