London - The bodies of two men wrapped in a duvet were discovered after a woman looked over her wall to see whether her neighbour’s garden was tidier than hers, it was revealed on Sunday night.
Dina Kacare had moved into her one-bedroom flat in Hull only two weeks ago and was proudly showing her new garden to a friend when she made the macabre discovery on Friday evening.
Ms Kacare, 39, said: “I was cleaning my garden with a friend when I noticed that I could see into my neighbour’s next door.
“We started comparing how clean the garden was and then saw a duvet and legs sticking out.”
Humberside Police said the deaths were being treated as “suspicious but unexplained”. They were due to receive the results of post-mortem examinations on Sunday night.
The bodies have still not been identified, and last night the property remained cordoned off as detectives searched through CCTV and forensic evidence.
Detective Superintendent Matt Hutchinson said: “This incident is of great concern to the community and we still need the public’s help.”
