Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will visit South Africa next month, after making a trip to Arab countries in the Gulf, the British High Commission in Pretoria said on Thursday.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Tanzania immediately after the trip to South Africa, which will last from November 2 to 6. They will arrive in Africa after visiting Kuwait and Qatar.
The trip will focus on job creation, investment, education, disadvantaged people and environmental issues, according to the statement.
Prince Charles officially visited South Africa in 1997 and Tanzania in 1984. While Camilla has been to South Africa privately, this will be her first official trip and she has never been to Tanzania.Author: Shabtai Gold – Sapa-dpa
@dave, no you obviously need all the money you can get, your country is in financial trouble, not so, having to support the lazy who prefer living on the dole rather than finding a job? I agree that our government is corrupt, but that doesn't mean we all are. There are actually honest people who have worked their butts off to make a living, you can stick your money up your pommy a**e! D**s
RAther he should talk about curruption, the non granting of visa to people who make a positive difference, tenderpreneurship, secrecy bills, and the like. only then will his visit maybe have a slight tiny impact ?.. SA does not need financial support from any country, if corruption is tackled. see the 30bn losses per year we suffer thanks to the anc government..
Fantastic, can hardly wait.
@Joe Cynic Ooh... How we loved Diana. As for this "cruella de ville" that he is bringing along, the less said the better.
As the ANC returned to the 'British commomwealth', South Africa now falls under the authority of the British crown. So he just visiting one of his 'properties'!
@ anon 04.01 The history you mention should never be forgotten, when I first heard that I was so shocked that the Brits would do such a thing. But you as an individual boytje appear to have your mind very much in the past...what on earth has this got to do with HRH Price Charles visit, are you a dis-illusioned B*er or what??? and @ Joe Cynic I agree with you comments 100% well written...have you had your Bells yet???
So we let this crusty old crumpet muncher into our country but not the D LAMA? Oh, and how but you give us the Jewel of Africa back you thieves.
Focus will be on "job creation, Investment, Education and Disadvantaged people". This is great as the ANC have no clue in these matters. Please ensure that the "Whites" are recognized as the new disadvantaged people. Racist policies like AA, BEE have made it like that since 1994.
@Anonymous “Will he visit the concentration camps where thousands of people died” We HERE IN THE UK , DONT WANT HIM TO VISIT U EITHER . We just hope to hell he doesnt give your corrupt country any of our money. Begging Bowl B******s
I hope he gets a visa!
Not welcome to SA
Charles is a sensitive soul, so do not expect of him to play the diplomat. Allow him time to re-visit the world of his erstwhile mentor , Laurens van der Post.
Give that man a bell's

And he's bringing a horse along. Oh sorry, that's his wife. We will never forget him for what he did to Diana.
Will he visit the concentration camps where thousands of people died during the Anglo Boer war too? We don't need old fart and old fart's wife here. It's because of british oppression in the early part of the century that S A's history is what it is today.we don't want you here!
