Moscow - The suspects detained in the killing of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov have been identified as Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadaev.

Federal Security Service director Alexander Bortnikov said Saturday that both are from Russia's North Caucasus region, but did not give further details.

Nemtsov was shot to death late February 28 as he walked along a bridge near the Kremlin with a companion.
