Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma has appointed two new members to the SA Law Reform Commission, the presidency said on Friday.
Professors Annet Wanyana Oguttu and Marita Carnelley would fill two exisiting vacancies, spokesman Mac Maharaj said in a statement.
Oguttu is a professor of law at Unisa, specialising in tax law. Carnelley is college dean of research at the college of law and management studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
The commission consists of a chairperson and not more than eight other people appointed by the president. The commission makes recommendations for the development and improvement of the law. - Sapa
