Johannesburg - Two years ago TV personality model Masego “Maps” Maponyane dazzled and charmed South Africans with his arresting looks as the ambassador of German fragrance Joop! Homme. Last year, suave Rockville actor Lehasa Moloi ran with the baton and impressed many.

On Saturday the country will be formally introduced to a group of hotties as the fragrance searches for its next SA representative and kicks off the vote campaign.

The finalists who will battle it out for the top place include Top Billing presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee, e.tv’s Club 808 Cyprian Ndlovu, Swallows player Mthokozisi Yende, Generations The Legacy actor Vuyo Dabula and Isidingo star Izak Davel.

The five will compete in mental, physical and exciting challenges in the hope of clinching the title. The Joop! Homme ambassador is said to be a positive go-getter and somebody who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

“We didn’t want to repeat the same concept of revealing two guys who will go head to head,” campaign manager Thandy Matlaila said.

“We wanted variety this time around and include different ages. Each of these finalists represents something about what the fragrance stands for,” she said.

Only time will tell who will be crowned the sexiest of them all and impress with Joop! Homme scent.
