London - A huge clash between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko could be finalised next week.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn and Klitschko’s representative Bernd Boente have been talking on the phone up to four times a day to make the fight happen.

December is the most likely date for a fight that would put Joshua’s IBF heavyweight world title on the line. If he is stripped of his belts, Tyson Fury’s WBA and WBO titles could also be at stake.Hearn is confident an agreement is close, saying that there is a ’70-30 chance’ of it going ahead. Hearn told Sportsmail: ‘The Fury episode changed our direction.

‘We’re now targeting Klitschko.’
