Southhampton - South Africa's Hashim Amla became the fastest player to 3 000 one-day international runs during the course of his 150 that set up the Proteas' 80-run win over England at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Tuesday.

He is the third South African in a top 10 that also includes current Proteas' coach Gary Kirsten.
