Duanne Olivier makes his Proteas debut

Fast bowler Duanne Olivier will make his debut for the Proteas in the third and final Test match against Sri Lanka starting at the Wanderers on Wednesday. Olivier’s inclusion meant South Africa would take on Sri Lanka with an all-pace attack.

The 24-year-old Olivier is the leading wicket taker in the Sunfoil Series. Left-arm seamer Wayne Parnell makes his return to the Test side replacing Kyle Abbott.Proteas Test captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat first.While Du Plessis was keen on a whitewash most of the hype in the buildup was focused on Proteas stalwart Hashim Amla earning his 100th Test cap.
