Rogers hits double ton in record chase

London - Australia Test opener Chris Rogers hit an unbeaten 241 as English county Middlesex chased down their highest fourth-innings total to clinch a seven-wicket win over Yorkshire at Lord's on Wednesday.

Set a huge 472 to win, 36-year-old Rogers stormed to the third-highest fourth-innings score ever recorded by a batsman in the county championship.

Middlesex's target of 472 for three is the third-highest chase.

Neil Dexter stood shoulder with Rogers, making an undefeated 72 in an unbroken fourth wicket stand of 145.
