Paris – South Africa's Robbie Hunter has pulled out of the Tour of Flanders because of bruising to his ribs and back, his RadioShack team said Friday.

Hunter picked up the knocks during Thursday's final stage of the Three Days of De Panne race which was won by Belgium teammate Sebastien Rosseler.

Twenty-year-old Polish rider Michal Kwiatkowski, who finished third in the race, has been called in to replace Hunter. – Sapa-AFP
