Johannesburg – South African Charl Schwartzel carded a third round four-under par 66 to get to two-under overall in the PGA Championship at Baltusrol Country Club on Saturday.

The 2011 Masters Champion was one of the lucky few who managed to complete his third round, as the majority of the field were called off the course due to inclement weather.

American leaders Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb, on nine under, had not even teed off yet in their third round when the weather brought an end to play for the day.

Schwartzel shared 28th place on the leaderboard alongside the pair of Branden Grace and Louis Oosthuizen. The other two South Africans, however, were in the middle of their rounds when they were called off with Grace through nine holes and Oosthuizen having played seven.

Ernie Els, like Schwartzel, was able to finish his round in time as he carded a one-under 69 to get to one-over for the event in 59th place.

George Coetzee had two holes left to play, and was two-over overall in 68th spot. – African News Agency (ANA)
