Sydney – The Blitzboks started their HSBC Sydney Sevens campaign in fine style on Saturday when defeated Pool A opponents Japan and fellow African rivals Kenya at the Allianz Stadium, Sydney, Australia.
Series leaders South Africa dispatched Japan 32-0 in the opener and then found the going uphill against Kenya who scored first.
However, the South Africans bounced back to claim a 14-7 result. In their final Pool A match on Saturday, SA play England (at 11.13 SA time) who also defeated Japan and Kenya earlier on.
