Durban - The Sharks have announced the signing of Springbok hooker, Chiliboy Ralepelle, who will join the franchise for the start of the new season.
The year 2006 was a breakthrough year for the then 19-year-old Ralepelle, who made both his Super Rugby debut for the Bulls as well as his first appearance in the green and gold. He went on to represent his country on 22 occasions and also made 69 Super Rugby appearances for the Bulls.
Commenting on his signing, the Sharks Director of Rugby, Gary Gold said: “I am pleased to have acquired the services of a hooker with the pedigree of Chiliboy Ralepelle. He is a brilliant player with a strong work ethic and will be an asset to our squad.
“We look forward to welcoming him to Durban.”
