Paris Saint-Germain are targeting a £45million move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

A delegation from the French champions are due in London to watch England’s clash with Holland at Wembley on Tuesday, with Sturridge set to play some part in the game following his recall to the international set-up after injury.

PSG boss Laurent Blanc will be in the market for a new centre forward in the summer, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani set to leave, and Sturridge is one of the names on his wanted list.

Sportsmail revealed earlier this year that Sturridge is open to leaving Anfield in the summer but with three years of his contract still to run, it will take a huge sum to lure him away.

Much depends on whether PSG can rid themselves of Cavani and his £215,000-a-week wages.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea will be in the market for a new striker and a move for the Uruguayan would pave the way for Sturridge’s move to Paris.
