Johannesburg - The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is postponing three Absa Premiership fixtures involving Mamelodi Sundowns scheduled between December 5-21 period.

The changes have been necessitated by Mamelodi Sundowns' participation in the Fifa Club World Cup in Japan next month. Their last fixture before departing for the Fifa Club World Cup will be on December 3 against Free State Stars.

Their next fixture will be against Baroka FC on Thursday, December 22 at Peter Mokaba Stadium. The fixture against Baroka FC was initially scheduled for December 21 - but the League moved it by a day to accommodate Mamelodi Sundowns travel logistics.

The three postponed fixtures include Bidvest Wits, SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates.

The League will make further announcements on future dates for these three fixtures.

Last week, the PSL Chairman, Dr Irvin Khoza conveyed his well wishes to Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their trip to Japan where they will be representing the African continent.
