Emily Blunt feels “uncomfortable” watching 3D movies.

The Gulliver’s Travels actress admits she struggles to get to grips with donning special glasses over the top of her own prescription lenses when watching films shot in the new technology.

She said: “Do you wear your glasses and the 3D glasses? Because that’s what I have to do and I find it an uncomfortable experience!”

Gulliver’s Travels – which follows the titular character’s adventures in a land inhabited by miniature people – was mostly shot in front of blank screens, with the actors having to say their lines to specially-marked laser points rather than one another to account for the digitally-altered height differences.

Jack Black – who plays the lead character Lemuel Gulliver – admits it was a bizarre filming experience.

He told BANG Showbiz: “They were looking at the sky, I’m looking at the spot in the ground, but we could hear each other live in real time and have real, like, interactions and you can tell, you can feel it in the improvisational moments.”

Billy Connolly– who plays King Theodore – admitted that the complicated way of filming could sometimes be difficult as he found it hard from stop himself turning to look at the person who was speaking.

He admitted: “It’s really weird when you’re talking to a laser point on a building. And the guy you’re supposed to be talking to is over here, talking. You know, everything in your body just turns around, you just can’t help it – well, I just couldn’t help it.”

Gulliver’s Travels is due in cinemas December 26, 2010. - Bang Showbiz
