Hollywood beauty Megan Fox was fired from the latest Transformers film. According to the Daily Mail, executive producer Steven Spielberg demanded that Fox get the boot after she had insulted the film’s director Michael Bay. During a press interview, Fox had referred to Bay as “Hitler”. She has since been replaced by British model Rosie Huntingdon-Whitley.

Bay revealed he was told to get rid of Fox, while she claimed she had left the film to pursue other acting opportunities.

“You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now,” said Bay.

The Transformers series had made a star of Fox, who was voted one of the sexiest women in the world after appearing in the first two films. Her behaviour on set, however, has not endeared her to her co-stars, who took to the net to defend Bay after Fox’s “Hitler” quip.

One crew member posted an open letter on Michael Bay’s website, calling Fox “dumb as a rock”.

“Michael found this shy, inexperienced girl, plucked her out of total obscurity thus giving her the biggest shot of any young actresses' life.

“He told everyone around to just trust him on his choice. He granted her the starring role in Transformers, a franchise that forever changed her life; she became one of the most googled and oogled women on earth.

“She was famous! She was the next Angelina Jolie, hooray! Wait a minute, two of us worked with Angelina – second thought – she's no Angelina. You see, Angelina is a professional.

“We know this quite intimately because we've had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both Transformers movies.”

Another crew member compared Fox’s acting ability to that of a porn star.

Even co-star Shia LeBeouf waded into the fray, labelling Fox’s actions unacceptable.

“She started s*** talking our captain. Which you can't do,” he revealed in an interview with GQ magazine. - IOL
