In spite of tweeting her excitement about attending the annual BRIT Awards, Katie Price was nowhere to be seen at the glamorous ceremony.
According to Mail Online she opted to stay at home and watch the ceremony - after being asked not to go.
The Daily Star reported that Katie had a ticket but opted out of going to the BRIT Awards after organisers advised her against it.
They feared a showdown between her and Peter Andre and made it clear they didn't want her there.
A friend told the paper: 'She has been stitched up.'
But a source at the BRITs added: 'It was felt best to let her make her own decision with dignity rather than face being barred.'
The paper also reported that Katie blamed Andre for the decision and blasted the claim that they would get into a row and said: 'The source of which is pretty obvious.'
Katie, it would seem, had every intention of attending the event before she was advised to pull out.
She posted on her Twitter page on Monday asking her followers for their opinion on what colour nail polish to wear.
But last night she remained mum on the reason why she didn't attend and instead took to Twitter again saying: 'Just picking curry up good job I recorded brits we will all sit and watch it woooo.'
Andre and Katie have been embroiled in a bitter spat since their daughter Princess returned with a burn from her holiday to Switzerland .
But after the police got involved, the glamour model's mother Amy Price admitted she was looking after the three-year-old when the accident happened.
She told the Daily Mirror: 'I don’t understand why Pete is having a go at Kate.
'Her sister Sophie and I were the ones with Princess when it happened and I know it was a fluke accident - and just how minor it is.'
Princess sustained a burn to her back after leaning against a heated towel rail in their Swiss hotel suite.
