The track listing of this album has the lead single Uzobuya as the first song on the CD. It is as if Kabomo is telling you that if you think this is the best song, you haven’t heard nothing yet.

Think Dwelle’s sound on Without You, only in Zulu. The song speaks of reconciliatory themes in a failed relationship. Then comes Busisiwe, which is like a continuation of the Uzobuya storyline, only thesound is totally different.

The SA Music Award-nominated Colour of You features Nothende on the mellow chorus while Kabomo trades his singing for impressive rapping.

Then comes a personal favourite, Against All Odds, which features Flatoe, MXO, Max Hoba and Nothende once more. Usually when songs are crowded with different singers, egos get in the way and that kills the song. Not with this one.

From the strong acoustic start to the different styles on the individual artists’ verses you can tell that a lot of thought was put into this. A surprise guest comes in the form of Dineo Moeketsi, who delivers an incredible take on the Uzobuya remix.

It also features Khuli Chana, who could have given us more, but his so-so efforts do not hurt the song. All in all this is a classic album that even Kabomo will struggle to outdo.
