London - A Rolling Stones museum is set to open in London.
Frontman Sir Mick Jagger was so inspired by the interactive tribute to pop group ABBA in their home town of Stockholm, Sweden, that he plans to set up a similar venue for his own rock 'n' roll band in the English capital.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, ABBA singer Bjorn Ulvaeus said: "I had heard he wanted to build a similar thing in London. That is why he wanted to come here and look. He is planning a Rolling Stones museum.
"It was an inspirational visit. Mick has saved lots of clothes which they can display. He had thousands of questions. Mick took loads of photos."
As well as iconic tour costumes from their lengthy career, the Rolling Stones museum is likely to include instruments and special memorabilia courtesy of band members Mick, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood.
Mick, 70, was driven to the Abba venue in a blacked-out Mercedes to keep his after-hours visit under wraps. He reportedly performed with a singing hologram as Bjorn took him around the museum. - BANG Showbiz
