US rapper Nicki Minaj will shake up Cullinan, Tshwane at this year’s TribeOne music festival.

Minaj, whose songs Pills n Potions and Touchin’ Lovin featuring Trey Songz, are currently making waves, will be joined by US hip hop stars Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, J Cole and Kid Ink at the event.

“We are proud to announce @NICKIMINAJ as a headlining act at #TribeOneFest. She will be performing on the Diamonds Fields Stage,” TribeOneFest tweeted.

Many hot acts will take to the stage for three days of awesome entertainment from 26-28 September.

The line-up includes musos from South Africa and across the continent such as Gang of Instrumentals, Karen Zoid, Liquideep, Beatenberg, Desmond & the Tutus, Kwesta, Zebra and Giraffe, Veranda Panda, Fally Ipupa, Gazza, Xtatic and many more.

As expected, fans went into a frenzy at the exciting news:

Regarding sought-after tickets, the festival’s Facebook page directed fans to, with the note: "Ticketing information, VIP and ROCKSTAR hospitality packages, and accommodation options ensured to suit any preference and pocket to be released today with the last opportunity for fans to register for the early bird ticket sales discount currently in progress. Local and international travel packages to be released next week." - IOL
