Lily Aldridge has compared her fitting for the $2 million Victoria's Secret Fireworks Fantasy Bra to getting a marriage proposal.
The 28-year-old model - who has been an Angel since 2010 - has been bestowed with the honour to model the extravagant gem-covered lingerie piece at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which will take place on December 8, and has been dreaming of being chosen for the job “forever”.
Victoria's Secret have posted a video of the brunette beauty - who is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill - getting fitted for the bra on their official Twitter account.

In the clip, Lily says: “Hi guys. Today is the day I can't believe I am finally here, I've been dreaming about this day forever. I'm so nervous, I feel like I'm getting proposed to.”
While trying on the bra, she said: “I am so honoured to join the long list of women who have worn the Fantasy Bra and I can't believe that this year is my year. This is my first time being chosen to wear the Fantasy Bra and I feel so so honoured.
“There are about 65,000 gems on this bra, it's valued at $2 million.”

Lily can't wait to be “in the moment” as she struts down the catwalk in New York City wearing the luxurious garment and has been told by models who have previously had the honour to “enjoy” every moment of it.
She told PEOPLE Style: “I'm not scared, I'm super-excited and I'm anxious to just get on the runway and wear it and be in that moment. “Some of the girls who have worn it in the past are just like, 'Enjoy every moment of it.' It's such a special experience and I'm really excited.”
