Ed Sheeran once soiled himself on stage.
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter made the startling admission that he once lost control of his bowels during a performance, leading to an embarrassing situation.
He told Australian radio show 'Smallzy's Surgery': “I actually once misjudged a fart on stage, which ended up being a shart.
“It was, like, midway through a performance and I was really lively, and then halfway through I was like, 'All right I'm just going to stand for the rest of the performance, and hope it's over soon and then go home and throw these trousers out!'“
Ed also revealed that he farts on stage “all the time”.
Meanwhile, Ed was nominated for three MTV VMAs this week, including Video of the Year, Best Male Video and Best Pop Video for his hit 'Thinking Out Loud'.
He will battle it out for the 'Moonman' trophies at the ceremony, which will air live from Los Angeles on August 30.
It was previously revealed Miley Cyrus, 22, will host this year's event.
