Taylor Swift's cats wish they had thumbs.
The 25-year-old singer has sensed her two furry felines, Meredith and Olivia – who are named after 'Grey's Anatomy' character Meredith Grey and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Olivia Benson – have grown envious of her thumbs as they cannot stop staring at their owner's digits.
Taylor took to her Instagram account to upload a video of her pair of pussies looking all solemn while attempting to get into a packet of cat food with their tiny paws.
She captioned the comical clip: "My cats wish they had thumbs so bad. I see them staring at mine like all jealous."
In the video, she can be heard saying: "Hey … you guys trying to open that? Yeah, let me help you."
The 'Out of the Woods' hitmaker then reaches towards the packet of feline food but carefully and considerately hides her thumb under her hand so her four-legged friends do not get even more envious of her superior digits.
The short clip certainly went down well with the blonde beauty's legion of fans – affectionately known as Swifties – as the video incredibly received more than 586,000 likes from her supporters.
But Taylor may not have too much sympathy for Meredith as the stunner recently admitted the three-year-old Scottish Fold feline has become somewhat of a diva after being crowned Most Popular Celebrity Cat of 2013.
She explained: "The first one, Meredith, started out as a very friendly kitten and then she became some sort of an internet celebrity and I think she kind of changed a little.
"She just kind sits around and she's always giving me the side glance. Like I don't matter anymore to her because she knows that she was like 2013's most popular celebrity cat." – Bang Showbiz
