HAWAII FIVE-0 SEASON 4 DVD

****

Crime-fighting shows are a dime a dozen, so what else can you do to make them look different and cool?

It sounds so simple, but setting your cop drama in some exotic locale makes a load of difference. We all dream of kicking back and sipping margaritas at an island resort. And we’d all like to do that without having to worry about things like crime.

Making that dream a reality, at least on DVD, is the Hawaii Five-0 police unit. The crew return for a fourth season and the episodes get better and better. They are interlinked with major stories developing throughout the season, but the episodes are also written to be watched autonomously.

The fact that Hawaii is the last place you’d expect to encounter crime is the reason why this show thrives. Using the scenic landscapes and beautiful resorts, Hawaii Five-0 will grab your attention one way or the other. Expect several guest appearances from celebrities including Nick Jonas and Mark Dacascos. While the entire season can be really addictive, the ending is a bit of an anti-climax. You almost feel as though the writers became lazy and were too fixated on attracting another season rather than carefully wrapping up this one.

Overall, you will enjoy this among the others like NCIS, Law & Order, Chicago PD and Elementary. – Munya Vomo
