Market Theatre Laboratory seeks the next generation of young actors: If you are a talented, focused individual who dreams about a career in the performing arts, the Market Theatre Laboratory has news for you: we are recruiting a new generation of young actors for our renowned Performance and Theatre Skills Training Programme. Applications for this full-time course are open until September 30 for study next year.

Theatre productions connected to the curriculum for Festival of Fame:

Assitej South Africa, in partnership with the National School of the Arts, is calling for productions aimed at young people, and which are connected to the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPs), for the National School of the Arts professional programme at the Festival of Fame set to take place in Braamfontein, in March. Productions will need to send: a letter of motivation for the production, a description of connections to the CAPs; the location of the artists involved; the number of artists involved in the production; all relevant contact details. Alternatively, for the application form, e-mail Ms Stander at [email protected] . The application deadline is Monday.
