JOHANNESBURG

The Joburg Carnival will again bring the city’s streets to life on December 31. This year’s theme is Jozi My Jozi, My City and the colourful parade will start in Kotze Street, Hillbrow, at noon, proceed through the city, over the Nelson Mandela Bridge and end at Newtown Park in the afternoon. Troupes, choirs, bands and floats will make their way through the city. The parade is hosted by the City of Joburg in partnership with various municipal-owned entities.
