Cape Town - A passenger has been arrested after making a bomb threat on a British Airways flight operated by Comair, due to fly from Joburg to Cape Town on Tuesday evening.

According to sabreakingnews.co.za, the passenger was taken into police custody after sparking panic of a bomb threat ahead of the flight departing.

“It would be inappropriate for us to comment on this particular incident as it’s currently being investigated and we don’t wish to risk compromising that process,” said Comair spokesperson Shaun Pozyn.

“As a rule, the safety of our passengers and crew are our utmost priority at all times and we never compromise on that, so any threat is treated as serious.”
