Lights shine on street pole problem

Comment on this story

Amitha Maharaj writes: In February after a storm, a tree fell over and knocked down the street light poles in East River Road West, River Club.

We were told that all the poles were rotten and had to be replaced. To this day, the poles have not been replaced and the lights have not been restored.

I have logged a call and have had no success to date. We live along a river and the lights are necessary in terms of safety, as vagrants squat along the river.

Maharaj writes again: Thanks, the lights have been fixed.
