For the second year, LeadSA is running this campaign – asking readers of The Star and Talk Radio 702 listeners to come forward with their stories.
The campaign will run from 6am today to 6pm tomorrow.
Last year, the LeadSA survey revealed that 2 474 people reported they had bribed a metro cop over a three-month period.
In Joburg, 1 889 motorists admitted they had paid a bribe.
Readers are encouraged to sms “yes” or “no” and the city where they were bribed to 33325.
Alternatively, go to the LeadSA website and click the relevant box, or check the Facebook page and fill in the survey.
“One year later we are looking to see if things have changed. We want to hear from you, in order to get an honest assessment of whether things have changed or not,” said Moegsien Williams, the editor of The Star.
“We’ll collate this information over the weekend, and bring you the results on Monday to reflect on the extent of corruption.
“We’ll need to stress that no individual’s information will be passed on to the authorities or any third party,” Williams said.
