JOHANNESBURG - Dairy products group Clover Industries on Tuesday announced the appointment of chartered accountant Frantz Scheepers as the new chief financial officer (CFO) designate, effective 1 November, taking over from Elton Bosch.
Clover said over the next two months, Scheepers will act as the CFO designate and work closely with Bosch to ensure a smooth transition. He will then formally assume the role as the CFO of the company effective 1 January 2018 and be appointed as an executive director.
Scheepers has spent the full extent of his career with Ernst and Young (EY) and is well acquainted with Clover's business as he was EY's lead audit partner on the Clover audit from 2007 to 2013. He was also part of the audit team when Clover was listed in 2010.
The board of Clover welcomed Scheepers saying that it looks forward to his contribution to Clover.
