Johannesburg - Shares of platinum producers Lonmin and Impala Platinum climbed as a union representing striking miners presented the companies' wage offers to their members.
Lonmin, one of the three top platinum firms hit by the strike, which stands to lose the most if talks to end the strike, that has been running for nearly five months, was up 8.2 percent by 13:40 SA time.
Impala Platinum shares rose 2.6 percent.
However, Anglo American Platinum shares fell 0.4 percent. - Reuters
