JOHANNESBURG - Royal Bafokeng Platinum announced on Thursday that its executive director and chief financial officer, Martin Prinsloo had resigned.

It said the resignation of Prinsloo, who worked for the company for over nine years, was effective from August 10, 2018.

The company said it had commenced with an executive search process to identify a suitable candidate to fill the vacant position.

Royal Bafokeng Platinum is a black-owned mid-tier platinum group metals producer listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since November 2010.

The company originates from a joint venture between Anglo American Platinum and Royal Bafokeng Holdings known as the Bafokeng Rasimone
