WATCH: You can now follow hashtags on Instagram

DURBAN - Instagram has introduced a their latest feature to the app, giving you the ability to follow hashtags on Instagram.

Hashtags are a popular way for people to tag their pictures or videos. This allows users to find specific content on Instagram. 

Following a hashtag on Instagram is now the same as following a friend. These are the three steps that users have to follow if they want to follow a hashtag on Instagram:

1. Search on Instagram for a subject that you are interested in or press on a hashtag from a post.

2. When they find the hashtag that they were looking for, the user can then open the hashtag page and click on follow.

3. The to posts from the hashtag that they have followed will then appear on your Instagram feed.
