Fuel prices to drop

Pretoria – The price of all grades of petrol will drop by 20 cents a litre, and diesel (0.05 percent sulphur) by 32 cents per litre and diesel (0.005 percent sulphur) by 31 cents per litre from midnight on Tuesday.

The price of illuminating paraffin will drop by 28 cents per litre (wholesale) and by 38 cents per litre (single maximum national retail price (SMNRP), the energy department said in a statement on Saturday.

The maximum retail price for LPGas would drop by 17 cents per kilogram, it said.
