Pizza fans now finally have their own signature scent, thanks to Demeter Fragrance Library, a perfume company known for creating off-the-wall fragrances.

The brand has invented a $20 (R222) “Pizza” perfume that smells like everyone’s favourite late-night meal.

According to reviews on Demeter’s site, the perfume smells incredibly realistic.

Ali of Long Island, New York wrote: “I was too curious about this one to not try it… and I am shocked by it! It truly smells like pizza! The first hit is sweet tomatoes and mozzarella… then the second hit is a doughy, Parmesan crusted garlic knot-type of smell. It’s really complex and I would wear it because it’s delicious!”

While the scent’s other reviewers agree with its lifelike smell, many say that they just purchased Pizza as a novelty and have no plans to wear it in public.

The fragrance has received an overall rating of four-and-a-half stars, and each of its reviewers noted that they would recommend the scent to a friend.

Pizza is not Demeter’s first odd fragrance release. The brand is known for creating bizarre scents including Dirt, Lobster, and Zombie – which supposedly smells like a “forest floor”.

The American label offers more typical scents as well, including jasmine and Bulgarian rose. – Daily Mail
