Johannesburg - Yellow corn in South Africa settled at the lowest price in more than a month in Johannesburg trading.

Wheat also declined.

Yellow corn for delivery in July dropped 0.7 percent to 2,180 rand a metric ton, the lowest since March 27, by the midday close on the South African Futures Exchange.

The white variety decreased 0.3 percent to 2,085 rand a ton.
